The Organized Child Accountability Group Book Club For Parents with Elementary and Middle School Children


DESCRIPTION:
This 8-week parent group will support in the implementation of The Organized Child program. (The Organized Child is a book by Richard Gallagher, PhD, Elana G. Spira, PhD, and Jennifer L. Rosenblatt, PhD.) The group will be a space for parents of children ages 7-13 years old to collaborate and receive accountability as we focus on understanding your child’s and family’s organizational needs and provide support as we set up and implement organizational action plans. We will reference the book as we go through the 8-week group. Individuals located anywhere in the US are able to attend virtually.

WHEN:
Wednesdays 12pm-1pm CT for 8 weeks:

  • Begins Wednesday, September 6, 2023

  • Last session is Wednesday, October 25, 2023

LOCATION:
Online video platform (Cameras are strongly encouraged)

COST:
$35/hour – Full 8-week attendance required along with each family covering their own cost of the book

  • Small groups (6 parents or less) to allow for easier chatting and discussion

  • Accountability and step by step implementation of The Organized Child program

  • Resources will be provided for individualized use to personalize the program to suit your child’s needs


SIGN UP:

This group is designed for anyone wanting to learn about and implement the steps included in The Organized Child. It will be led by Caren Kangas, an Executive Function and ADHD Coach. Caren has a background in Education and Applied Behavior Analysis.
