Seeing My Time™

This program for adults teaches the executive functioning skills of time management, planning, and organization over the course of 8-10 weeks. This program can be utilized within individual sessions to add structure and enhance the executive functioning learning process. This curriculum can be helpful for those struggling with deadlines, being late, struggling to meet expectations, and having executive functioning deficits or a diagnosis of ADHD.

The curriculum is visually based and utilizes reflective, hands on materials to increase structured support. It supports diverse learners, including those with dyslexia. Some skills taught include:

  • Learning the why and how we struggle

  • Visualizing time

  • Planning out the day, week, and month

  • Mapping out complex projects

  • Breaking down projects into steps

  • Learning how to organize papers and files

  • Learning how to set long term goals and take steps towards them

  • Built in accountability to use the tools and strategies

Initial appointments can be scheduled with Caren Kangas (ckangas@guidingbehavior.com) to begin to assess if this curriculum could be a helpful aid to your skills-based treatment process.
